Community Partnerships

Community Partnerships are vital to the success of our students.  As we know, it takes a village!  I am happy to announce that we have been informed of some great activities being offered by two area business/organizations in our ongoing efforts to keep our students engaged in positive activities.

Davies County Library is coming to Winston!  Yes, starting Wednesday, May 17, 2017 there will be a Pop-Up Library in the Winston City Hall.  The Pop-Up Library will be at the City Hall every Wednesday from 2-5pm and Saturday 10am to noon!  Information will be sent home today about the summer reading program and you can contact the Daviess County Library for additional questions.  All students completing the Daviess County Summer Reading Program will receive a Certificate of Completion from the school and a small prize at the 2017-18, first quarter assembly.

In addition, The University Extension office, who provides Winston Elementary with Nutrition classes during the school year to support our PK-6 Health, will be offering "Join Us in the Kitchen".  Please see the information provided below.
